Derby, 8 February 2015:

After their recent announcement regarding a return to the 2015 Avon Tyres British GT Championship for 2015, Aston Martin specialist 22GT Racing will also be entering selected Britcar, Aston Martin Owners Club GT4 Cup and the Intermarque Championship events with their latest addition – an Aston Martin Vantage GT4.

The 445 bhp GT4 will be driven by father and son duo, Chris and Mika Brown, who are both newcomers to motor racing. Their debut appearance for 22GT Racing will be at Round One of the Britcar Aston Martin Drivers Championship 2015 as part of the MSA British Dunlop Endurance Championship at Silverstone.

22GT Racing’s team manager Nathan Harrison says he is thrilled to have the team in multiple Championships and racing a variety of cars this year. “Both drivers have shown great potential and the competition between each other brings out the worst in them.” Although considered newcomers to the world of motor racing, both Mika and Chris gained valuable experience behind the wheel of the GT4 in 2014, having entered a handful of races including the GT4 Challenge with Stratton Motorsport.
